Class Information

At Foxton, we want parents and carers to feel informed and involved in their child’s learning journey. Alongside our Foxton Curriculum, we have created long-term plans for each class to highlight the key areas of learning across the year. These plans make it easier for families to see what their child will be studying and how best to support learning at home.

Each class has its own dedicated team of teachers and support staff, ensuring that children are encouraged, challenged, and cared for at every stage of their education. You can find out more about each class, and view their long-term plans, in the sections below.

Fox Cubs

Our youngest learners begin their school journey in Fox Cubs, where we focus on building curiosity, confidence, and a love of learning. The children are supported in developing strong foundations across all areas of the Early Years curriculum.

  • Teachers: Mrs Bellamy (Monday–Wednesday) and Mrs Foster (Thursday–Friday)

  • Support Staff: Mrs Smith and Mrs Lawrence

Rabbits

In Rabbits Class, children continue to build on their early learning, developing core skills in reading, writing, and mathematics while exploring a rich and varied curriculum. We nurture independence and encourage children to discover the joy of learning through creativity and enquiry.

  • Teachers: Mr Evans (Monday–Wednesday morning) and Mr Cruickshank (Wednesday afternoon–Friday)

  • Support Staff: Mrs Oakden and Mrs Bratu

Otters

Otters Class provides opportunities for children to deepen their knowledge and develop resilience as learners. With a focus on collaboration and curiosity, children are encouraged to make connections across subjects and apply their learning in new and exciting ways.

Badgers

As the oldest pupils in school, Badgers Class take on greater responsibility, preparing for the transition to secondary school while continuing to thrive in a supportive and stimulating environment. We challenge our learners to aim high, think critically, and be positive role models across the school.

  • Teachers: Ms Hancock (Monday–Thursday) and Mr Norman (Friday)
