Thursday 29th June 2023

It was the final session on Thursday where the pupils choose an activity and Parker had organised an amazing treasure hunt in the nature area, which called on all the children’s knowledge that they have developed over the year.  The rain held off and they all entered into the spirit of it.  Parker’s organisation and recall were amazing and nobody expected an awards ceremony with prizes for everyone at the end.  Class 2 also thoroughly enjoyed showing the visiting pupils from Knighton Mead Academy around the nature area.  They seemed transfixed by our pond. We will also start to pick some of our blackcurrants today as they tend to come in fits and starts, so they will be heading for the freezer until the next academic year. Next Thursday is our final nature club session and we are hoping to do some pond dipping.
