As part of our ongoing commitment to more responsible food production and consumption, we were very excited to unpack our worms and put them in the bottom of the wormery. Food scraps and tea bags have gone in the tray above and even the dregs of the lovage soup. Waste from the staff room was then put in the composter along with the cardboard packaging the worms came in. We just had time to harvest the seeds of the fennel, parsley and coriander. We will decide what to do with them next week.
