Consultation: Relationships and sex education (RSE) and health education

Dear Parents & Carers,

We would like to invite you to take part in our Relationships and Sex Education (RSE) and Health Education policy consultation. We have recently reviewed our RSE curriculum to ensure it is appropriate for our pupils and complies with the latest government guidance.

To read our draft policy, please click here. Questions and comments are welcomed and can be sent to or you can arrange a meeting with Mr Norman via the School Office.

What is taught and how is ultimately a decision for the school and consultation does
not provide a parental veto on curriculum content as schools are legally required to
teach the National Curriculum. The right to withdraw children from Sex Education
lessons is explained in the draft policy.

Thank you for your support.
